Alliances

The Foundation for HealthSMART Consumers seeks to form alliances with organizations that have missions aligned with that of The Foundation. Collaboration with our alliances will promote the exchange of ideas, and sharing of resources for the purpose of supporting and promoting consumer activation for appropriate and confident self-care.

We are currently aligned with the following organizations:

Convenient Care Association is the association of companies and health care systems that provide consumers with accessible, affordable, quality health care in retail-based locations. The CCA leverages the SMARTcare™ Professional platform to distribute self-care educational content and resources through its member organizations to health care consumers.

GKEN, a recognized leader for evaluating and promoting better practices in achieving cost-effective health outcomes from across industrialized nations, provides insights and perspectives from global health systems.

The Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, affiliated with the University of California at San Francisco, is a leading authority on developing and implementing action plans that increase smoking cessation rates and increase the number of health professionals who help smokers quit. The Center provides expert counsel, content and resources on this important health issue.
